About us

In the summer of 2008, three students from the Graduate Program in International Affairs at New School University in New York City traveled to Rio de Janeiro, Brazil to research media and children’s rights. Their research on the diverse sections within children’s rights, coinciding with the 18th birthday of the ECA and CRC, prompted the birth of “Future of Children’s Rights in Brazil (FOCRIB).
